What we use

We ask for your name, contact details, job, place, and time. We may ask for job details and safe photos.

Why

We use it to know what you need and to look for local help.

Sharing

We use your facts for your job. We share them only with the service provider tied to that job. We do not sell your contact details.

Records

We keep job details when we need them for the work, law, safety, or a claim. If you save your work, we may keep what you typed. We may call or write to help you finish. This does not let us share it with a service provider. You may ask us to fix or delete your data when the law lets us.

Website measurement

We count page views and form steps. This helps us make the site work well. These counts do not hold your name, contact details, full address, job details, pay data, or files. Ad tools stay off until we add the right notice and choice.

Service terms

Role

City Works checks your request and finds you a local service provider. We introduce you once local help is found. We do not do, watch, check, or promise the work.

Service Provider terms

The service provider is not part of City Works. They set the price, date, job plan, terms, and safe work rules.

Fees

One job request is $50. A full year is $99. It has unlimited requests. Priority Control is $299 for one year. It has unlimited requests. It also puts your dates first. We work to find a provider who can do the job on your dates and times. Tax may be added at checkout. Finish five jobs on a year plan. Your next year on that plan is free. The City Works fee is separate from the provider bill.

Start request

No work guarantee

We cannot promise how soon a service provider will be ready. We also cannot promise the price, date, permit, insurance coverage, or work result. After you pay, City Works will find you local help.

Safety

You and the service provider must check all permits, trade rules, insurance, and safe work needs. City Works is not for an emergency.

Responsibility

The service provider is in charge of their work, staff, tools, vehicles, taxes, permits, insurance, job site, clean-up, harm, and claims. A check by City Works is not a promise of good work.
